PASHA CAFÉ, where exclusive oriental atmosphere meets modern elegance

Cosy café on the western hillside of the Buda Castle Hill, with quality food and drinks, art and music programmes

Cosy meeting place with stunning panorama

Did you know?

The 12-sided stone tower of Karakas Mehmed Pasha was once used for defence purposes.

It was equipped with breechloaders and could also accommodate cannons. It was built by the Buda Pasha from 6 May 1618 to mid-February 1621. During a mostly peaceful but tense period, he administered the most important vilajet of the Ottoman occupation of Hungary.

The Turkish atmosphere is not only reflected in the offerings of the Pasha Café, but also in the setting of the venue.

Today, it is a favourite meeting place not only for Hungarians who love the historical atmosphere, but also for those who prefer meaningful conversations and quality time..
